Meet my maid of honor, Sheila Campbell.  Sheila is one of the most creative and hardest-working people I know. When it came to my wedding, she applied that same creativity and work ethic to help me design the wedding dress of my dreams. But I didn’t just want any dress. I wanted a dress that looked wet without actually being wet. Sheila paused everything in her life for weeks to help me design my idea and articulate it to designers that she sourced on my behalf. I’m immensely grateful for her friendship and contribution to making my special day exceedingly so.

HECTOR GONZALEZ

Meet my best man, Hector Gonzalez. He has been my favorite human the last decade since I met him. He’s curious, kind, caring, inspiring, and the funniest human being I know. He’s known me from when I was homeless 8 years ago and then worked with me in both my first failed company and then my next which changed my life. We’ve been through the worst of times in life, side by side, and yet I know he’s got my back no matter how good or bad things get. and he’s the person who I’m closest to after my immediate family. You can trust him, you can make fun of him, and just know you can not find a better person on Earth than my best man, and best friend, Hector Gonzalez.

  • My second Maid of Honor from afar. Lydia is an attorney who has a trial the same weekend of our wedding. Regardless of her inability to attend, Lydia was my first close friend in Austin and is considered a sister for more reasons than I can count. Her house was a refuge to me during hard times, and her dog, Zoe, is the first dog I ever bonded with. Lydia organized my entire bachelorette, and I can't emphasize how much this gesture means to me.

  • Hannah, a bridesmaid, is a physician who can not attend my wedding due to being in medical residency and having a new baby. Fun fact: Hannah and I have known each other for over 20 years. We were best friends in high school, and we used to have a secret language in which we communicated. Hannah is like a sister to me, and she also helped put together my bachelorette despite her endless to-do list. I am so lucky to have her in my life!

  • Heath Dieckert may be the world’s best life and success coach you’ve never heard of. Billionaires, tech founders, A list actors all have him on their short list for who to call when they want to get to the next level of both achievement AND fulfillment. But ever since I met him 2 years ago on a backpacking trip through the mountains of Peru, I’ve been even more impressed with his kindness and love for people than his power.

    He’s the kind of man I both love to be around and want to be more like, and has a sneaky sense of humor which grabs you when you least expect it.

    I’m proud and honored he’s going to officiate our wedding in 2 weeks, I can think of no person better in my life who I trust with our send off into married life.
